In this section you can find guidance and support on how to use the YoungCare e-learning platform. In addition, you can also find a guide on how to use different accessibility options and adjust the page to specific needs.
How to use the YoungCare e-learning platform?
Have a look at the options below and learn how to actively use the YoungCare platform.
Choose language
To define the language of the e-learning platform, you can select one of the country flags at the top of the website.
Select area of interest
To define the area you want to learn about, have a look at the menu on the left side below the title “CONTENT”.
You can select five different areas of content: “House & Living”;
“Leisure & Mobility”; “Participation & Employment”; “Care & Support” and “Legal Framework”.
After clicking on an area, you will be redirected to an overview of the available topics.
Select topic of interest
After selecting an area, you get an overview of all available topics associated with it. You can always see the overview on top of the screen, below the language selection. In the example picture below, you can see the topics for the area: Leisure & Mobility.
To see the topic you are interested in, just click on it!
Select national and international perspectives
For most of the topics available, the YoungCare e-learning platform offers both, general (International) and country-specific (National) information. To select the information of your choice, you can use the switch button at the beginning of each topic (see example below).
After choosing “national”, you must select the country you want to receive the information for. The national parts are always available in the national language itself, as well as in English.
After selecting the national or international version, you are ready to dive into the content!
Use the navigation options on the e-learning platform
If you want to follow a predefined way throughout the topics or want to find answers to specific questions, you can use one of the navigation paths within our platform. You can find both options under “NAVIGATION”.
How to use accessibility features on the platform?
For implementing accessibility features on the YoungCare platform, we have implemented a specific tool. You can access it by clicking on the dedicated symbol at the bottom left of your page.
The tool offers a broad variety of accessibility features, from increased text size to audio descriptions and colour changes.your page.
