What does YoungCare offer?
The e-learning platform offers both, general (international) and country-specific (national) information, helping to navigate through various challenges that emerge from care needs and responsibilities. The covered topics are divided into five main areas.
House and Living
Barrier-free housing, home adaptations, and home care.
Leisure and Mobility
Sports and activities, mobility challenges.
Participation & Employment
Communication, employment, work /care balance and income support.
Care and Support
Self-help groups, care giving and family responsibilities, courses and therapies, overcoming the risk of loneliness, psychological problems. Finding out about ambulant care services, respite care services, and opportunities for professional advices
Legal Framework
Here, you’ll find specific information about laws and regulations for people with disabilities and informal caregivers.
